Free Screen Capture Software

Free Screen Capture Software

By now you may have a tool to write your ebooks with, but what can we use to capture some images?. I’ve written a couple of “How To” books so I needed to show the reader some screen shots from my computer, that way I could not only write about where they needed to be, but I could also show them.

I researched different screen capture programs a while back, some paid versions and some free. But for what I wanted to use it for all I needed to do was simply just take a picture, easy?. My endeavor brought me to stumble upon some free screen capture software that did just what I needed it to do, take a picture.

The screen capture software I use is called MWSnap3 it is very simple to use and 100% free!. MWSnap will take a picture of anything you need from your screen, it will then import it into the program and allow you to edit it, and then save your picture so you can use it at a later date.

Another great feature of MWSnap is the fact that it allows you to customize your capture sizes, you can now take screen captures from just part of your screen and not the entire window like before. This opens up the possibility for you to really zoom in on what you need to show your readers.

The best thing about this free screen capture software is that it works really well with Open Office. Both Open Office and MWSnap are my main tools of choice whenever I write an ebook, and because they are FREE too this only adds to why I recommend them to you all. If we can produce our own ebook without spending allot of money, then this only means more profits for us right;).

Here is the link again for your free screen capture software go grab this great tool. If you have any questions about this, or any other of the tools I post about please let me know, i’d be glad to get right back to you with any answers you need.

When I write some tutorial article, I usually capture some pictures from my computer screen and put them in my articles. But if some time it is hard to explain in words I would record some tutorials with screen recording software like DemoCreator.
